Try nylon threads, they are some how transparent oso..spotlight may have them..

Very fine that you won't even be able to see it if you're not observant

Yeah, fishing line would be your best bet, just get one with a low breaking strength, it will be thinner.

Can look for monofilament thread. I can't remember where I bought it from though. Probably some handicraft / sewing shop. Can try calling the Golden Dragon store in Chinatown to ask.
