At your budget I think people would reccomment a Altec mx5021 or stretch it a little and go for a Ageo M
How about the BOSE companion 3 series II? I am thinking of extending my budget for this. What do u think?
BOSE speakers are well worth the money. I got 2 sets of series 2 at home, no compliants so far.
May I suggest u get the series 2 or 3 and throw in a creative XMod (S$100+) to complement it.

Go for the Aego M by AE (a specialist speaker brand). Its worth every cent and I have no hesitation in recommending it. Available at Sim Lim Sq.
Where to get the Aego M at the best price??? care to provide address of shop in SLS or other place like funan? Challenger have?

Nope, shops like Challenger wont have it because, like I said, its from a specialist speaker maker.
As far as I know only the SLS shop sells it. Its called City Electronics on the ground floor. Look for Larry and dont worry the guy is nice and professional unlike your typical SLS moron salesman. Paid $369 for it.
I tested several other brands found in SLS including JBL but nothing came close not even the top end JBL model which was more expensive.
