Where are the A*list models?

Every week, in the portrait section, one sees only the same models from organised shoots. Why are there no images of those A*list models? Why are there so few images from those "masters of the trade" here?
Why are there no enterprising organisers booking those A*list models?... too costly to book?, poor response due to high costs?, CS shooters got bad reputation with these A*list models?
I am sure there is a willing market for some high quality models here ....:think: or is there not?

singaporeans in general are cheap. no one wants to pay for A listers. and besides CS is not a true representative sample of the "masters" as you put it.

Those who have made it in the trades, and generally accepted by the players..... of course I am not referring to those super A*list ... those already made it internationally and well-known. Those, I am sure most of us can't afford them, and got no use to shoot them.
As such, in this instance, I would re-define them as Sg models who have much experienced, much demanded, appear regularly in media: magazines, tv, events, shows, celebrities, etc...
I would classify most of the regular CS "models" as entry-models.

Cost, and probably alot of A list models dont need to do the group shoot work, its too low down for them now. Also im sure some wont want to be plastered all over Clubsnap.

"masters of the trade" hardly joined "organised" shoots.. they probably booked their own models. And real "masters of the trade" are paid to shoot and not pay to shoot..

COST - very competive to organise shoot these days, organiser are already offering discounts.. and most CS shooters just shoot for fun, not many really bother about quality of the models.. Cheaper better, more gals better.. and less clothes also better ;p

A*list models rather spend time networking, going for casting than to participate in organised shoot.. They know it won't bring them far..and in worst scenario.. having their images all over CS may over-expose them and depreciating their "value"

Three points, less material is not directly proportional to cost. For example some bikinis cost more than trousers and a top, its all about branding. Point two, women have been found to be sexier with clothes on as there is more mystery, also, with less clothes, the model will charge more and so will the organiser therefore there may be a fall in participants due to the increased cost which has been passed on to the customer. My third point is simple, economies of scale most definitely does not work on such a small scale and will have no impact or effect for a group shoot.

Many 'A' list models are in TW and HK. Also it depends on how you define A list - chio/pretty/sweet or tall/cool/sexy models? There's a difference. =)
