I have just got serious in photography again and went through a box of old stuffs this morning...wow the stuffs i got from 30+ years ago were simply amazing. Unfortunately i didnt keep them in a proper environment so all i got are shinning (as) NEW len bodies (with gold stickers etc) but glasses beyond help.... heartache of the highest degree due to poor foresight...:dunno:

now among them is this 35mm fujica lens (49mm? and still in good condition)which i would like to try out on a nikon D40X.. is there an adapter i could buy to fix the lens to the cam?

Your help and time is greatly appreciated:cheers:

if i'm not wrong D40X supports AFS lens only. i think there's nothing you can do with the lens. unless you reverse it with another lens for macro purposes.

pls correct me if i'm wrong.

Really appreciate that Jacob. It isnt a bad idea since most of my pictures are macro shots.

D40x with AFS lens will have AF, with other lenses NO AF and not that cannot be used, just use as a MF lens if it can be mounted onto the camera. However, some lenses the metering function may not work too, so these lenses become very manual.
