Hi guys? I am doing a project and needs to shoot a busstop. Preferably the old type. And I need it to be lighted at night. So anyone know where I can find such bus stops? Are there some along Mandai area? Thanks!

Can anyone help?

I remember that along Nicoll Drive, the old Asian Aerospace entrance has very very old bus stops, those stone type. If its demolished recently, then I duno lah.:)

Try Lim Chu Kang road end, near the Coast Guard base.

Hi,

Thanks for all the replies. Most importantly, are they lighted at night??

Thanks!

Can try Zion Road opposite Great World City. Think they have an older bus stop that faces inwards. :)

Bro, where to find old type of bus stops that are lighted up at night? Those days, the bus stops were not lighted up at all except from the streetlamps. There is an old bus stop, not very old like someone mentioned about those concrete type, along old Tampines Rd just near the back gate of PLAB. This bus stop is made of metal frame with zinc or fibreglass roof (not too sure). Obviously, no light.

old type = orange seats, funny zinc roof style?

wa, i think very hard to find that type already

but you want deserted one that is relatively empty at night, so you can fool around with your set up, etc, without much fear of buses, etc..

punggol road end. the one near to punggol beach with no 82 is lit at night :)

alternatively, if you have the time and patience, bring a torch and do light painting, should be fun too :)

The temporary bus stop here on Serangoon Avenue 3 between The Chiltern Park and The Springbloom is the old orange/beige/steel bars type. Click here for the map location http://www.streetdirectory.com/asia_travel/travel/travel_id_8465/travel_site_96188/
Only reason LTA put it here is because of the construction of the new Lorong Chuan station. Maybe later I can post a photo for you to see if it fits your requirement. :)

Hmm I think I saw some steel inward facing bus stops (as in the pillars are facing the road) around Woodlands/Admiralty, along the route of bus 169. IIRC was along the road of Republic Poly?

Wah!

You guys are the best man! Thanks a bunch!

if you take any feeder bus at woodlands.... you will see a lot of old orange bus stops along the way.....

You want really old ones....try cruising along Admiralty Road West, and the private housing estates in Sembawang. They got those pre-ww2 era ones.
