Eyes on the Planet: Stares at the Changing World

Photography, like music, is one of the most universally direct and emotional means of communication across all barriers, so it comes as no surprise that an international photography competition aims to do just that.

Eyes on the Planet invites all photographic enthusiasts and emerging photographers between the ages of 18 to 35 to share their view of the world, in the hope of raising awareness on the latest socio-environmental issues and to encourage social responsibility among the young.

Sponsored by Manfrotto with the patronage of WWF, Slow Food Foundation for Biodiversity Onlus, Provincia, and Assessorato al Tempo Libero of the Municipality of Milan, this contest features exciting and much-coveted prizes including a trip to the U.S. for a 3-day workshop with a renowned nature photographer, a Masters course in Professional Photography and more!

Find out more about the contest details and how your photos can contribute to a worthy cause here.

The prizes are good...but not suitable for everybody, especially hobbyist who have full time jobs in Spore. I guess this competition is targeted at very specific group.

hmm why u say that?
my gripe is that the privacy policy is not very good.

I refering the the one year courses in Italy.

I thought you referring to the cut off age of 35 :bsmilie:

Sorry for misunderstanding. What i mean is if someone were to win the prize: 1 year course in Italy, then how? Quit his job go study full time photography in Italy, and in mean time family eat grass? This competition therefore is something more for the pros or future pros with not much other commitments.
