Bro new 1 is arding $800 plus... But tat price is 6 month old when I first ask the same question...;p
oh.. no wonder someone selling at $600 used... i think if really buy, the fz30 is more worth it thou..
But you have to live with the lack of TTL Flash & lower battery life.

No problem... one good thing about the FZ50 is the sg price did not drop much even after I have purchase it more than a year.

The build & handling of the FZ50 is very good, I have brought it to several countries (Japan, Aust, China, Korea, Taiwan, etc ) with different climate and it work without any problem.
However the battery did "die" once during a mountain trip in the winter season :bheart:, luckily I have brought a spare battery :angel: else the whole trip is wasted.

ya.. i feel it too.. but one thing i having problem is shooting it at night.. the pictures are noisy. i think i need a stronger flash.

I think if you use a tripod and set a lower ISO the result would be much better....
