A photo of a cemetery ritual and incense burning I took during the 7th month in 2006. Was trying to capture the majesticness of the festival, and the glow from the fire of the offerings which make the usually calm and cold cemetery become warm and hellish... Just hoping to hear some learned views of the photo...

Camera: Nikon D70
Focal Length: 28mm
Aperture: F2.8
Exposure: 1.6secs
(only watermark added. Photo is original without any enhancement/modifications)

compositionally i think the picture is kinda weighted to the right.. i'd prefer it if you moved to the left and capture the paper mannequins as a partial foreground with the "majestic" fire slightly moved to the "back".. i like the trails from the blaze though..

btw.. seeing this pic makes me wonder something.. will a graduated nd filter (rotated to graduate from the left to right) work here? like to contain the bright light source (and yet allows for longer exposure to capture even more trails)?

sorry to hijack the thread uranium2k! =)
