those who have been through such an experience will tell you it is possible. those who have not (either through very good self-control, no opportunity, etc.) will tell you not possible.

That's my opinion too... I don't think it's love. It's more... He *wants* both of them.

ultimately, one of the parties (or both) are going to be hurt ... if the guy can behave so irresponsibly, who is to say that there are no 3rd, 4th, 5th party? maybe now he was caught with the 2nd party ...

I didn't realise the ultimate purpose of a relationship was marriage.
I think that it's easy to love more than one person. there are so many amazing people out in the world who fufill different aspects of us.why should we be restricted to loving one person?

it really depends on what your definition of love is, and what the other party's expectations towards you are.

if I have a girlfriend but I love another girl also, isn't that possible.

Relationships have been in existence for thousands of years before there was the concept of marriage. And early marriages were all about ending wars or joining property, not love.

I think it might be a ver SG way of thinking that a relationship is just a prelude to marriage, that it's always Sweethearts -> Dating -> bf/gf -> marriage.
