Avoid Worldwide Cameras Centre At All Cost!

I'm a victim of this shop as I'm a novice to prxs in town! I was being cheated of buying both an olympus FE-280 and a nikkor lens AF-S DX VR zoom 55-200mm at SIN$1550! I only realize my problem when frenz of mine show me her casio compact camera purchased at around SIN$200....! got out to check and found lens prx is around SIN$400+only!
I have purchase other stuff from them as well and paid a total of a 4 figure prx!!!
I went bk to the shop to look for a salesperson by the name of Tony and he told me that there is lots of reason for the lens to be of different prx, each time giving me a different story! at later, another salesperson took over to settle the matter with me and tell me that their cost for this lens is SIN$950...again build lots of stories with a ever friendly way!
I guess I'm just tired of the whole matter and relent with a 18-200mm lens, paid a further $500 to settle the whole matter.
I bet they have earn quite a handful from me base on earlier purchases.....considered I'm caught off guard!
But do spread the word around...AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COURSE, INCLUDING OTHER COUNTRIES AS THIS BADLY AFFECT SINGAPORE'S RETAIL IMAGE when tourism is part of singapore's revenue.

I cannot understand the prices. can list down individually what you paid for what and which lens was supposed to be $400+?
Also what has the casio got to do with all these? :dunno:

Anyway, just stick to the usual shops recommended in CS the prices wun get too far off.

Did they deliver the goods? Did you agree to the price? Then they didn't cheat, and you have no reason to complain whatsoever.

Thats why they say buyer beware, you wont win a court case because they have done nothing legally wrong. Maybe research prices before you buy next time, you obviously have access to the internet and it takes less then a minute to check.

and also it is up to you the buyer to do your homework and find out the normal price of an item

nowadays, finding out the price locally is not enough, must check world wide
