Manual focusing and F22, point at a sheet of white paper or @ the sky, do auto leveling with PS and look for dust bunnies...:D
This is what it look like for my 3 mths old D300.

After waiting 20 mins....point at a white sheet of paper and manual focus @ F22 again, so best to bring your lappy and use PS to see the result before signing the paper... This pic was taken outside FujiXerox building..after auto leveling.

I think D300 has the self cleaning CCD mechanism, is there any reason u need to go NSC to clean CCD?

these technology can only remove non sticky and tiny weeny rubbish off the sensor. however static are often present and they stick very strongly, which those shakes cant do much. in other words, the shakes are not much use.

nothing beats a manual cleaning by the pros.
