If someone take ur picture and post it, but the person got shot do not want so...

hi to all, my friend got shot at a certain event, and was pested by someone to make friends else he would post it online... wonder if there is any legal way to prevent his person from posting up the pictures?

as a photog i noe, the rights belongs to me, but then i do care for the feeling of the person i shoot. but then lookin at the person who got shot perspective, she really does not want her pictures to b posted anywhere... and even at friendster site for as in case people may mistaken her for the mistakes the poster does...

how do i help her?

on the other hand if yr friend is doing some sort of roadshow...she should be prepared to be shot at....

The one who took the photo does not know what trouble he is getting into. It is ok to take another person's photo in a public place.

Posting photos on line is sometimes no big deal. Lots of car show models get their photos posted in Clubsnap Gallery. I am quite sure the photogs did not always ask the models' permission before posting online.

It is not ok to threaten a person with posting her photo online. The photog is the one who needs help. He can get arrested and get a criminal record. Must be emotionally desperate.

And maybe this photog's IQ also very low. Because even a dim wit will know that threatening a lady this way will surely be a big turn off.

heheh no lah. If I did, this unfortunate perv would be in a hospital lying on an incline bed with both his legs strap to leg spreading birth-ing stirrups with doctors trying to extract his camera lens from his posterior.
