Hey guys!

I'm going to Bangkok for 9 days in Feb, have a few cravings, hope you guys can help me out..

Where to find:
1. Where to find good and affordable seafood?
2. Apart from Fuji, 8 Noodles, any good recommendation on any kind of food?
2. Where can I find works from local arty-farty designer in terms of modern architecture, interior, furniture, products?
3. We're going to indulge ourselves at places such as Bed Supper Club, Vertigo @ Banyan Tree (highest alfresco bar in the world), Sirocco @ State Tower (dining under the star at 63rd floor)... Is there any other places which is considered one-of-a-kind in Bangkok?

Let the recommendations flow, and hope all the others going will be benefited too!
Thanks in advance!

Siam Paragon, Centralworld, etc etc. The major shopping centres not infested with Singaporeans. :bsmilie:

U can try Future Park.....a big mall but far away at Rangssit area.....

i find sirocco is one of a kind where u can see the whole bangkok city from the highest building in bangkok. the dining is 1st class yet the bill will still not burn a hole in your pocket. other than dining there, u can also enjoy some drinks from the bar apart from the magnificent view. and don't forget the WA.

I've been there before actually, that was 3 years ago with my army buddies.. so it's gonna be a very different experience for me when i'm going with my girlfriend now hehe ;p

If i never recall wrongly, they don't allow you to take photo at the alfresco area is it? Because 3 years ago i brought a compact cam there, which was told by the security guard not to take photo .. this coming trip, my girlfriend and i are planning to lug a DSLR each.. :sweatsm:

yes u can take photos there at the alfresco, but not at the staircase leading to alfresco (& towards the dome). in fact i brought along my dslr and a compact (just in case dslr no allowed).

There is a open air restaurant call "Lakeview" if im not wrong. The whole restaurant is built over this small lake. quite is big place, very romantic atmosphere. There is karaoke rooms too. When u dine u can feed fishes under where u dine fishfood is provided. They serve seafood on rollerblades. Food is good n not expensive. Its far away from town. U can try to ask around for this place cuz my thai friend brought me there. i can teach you how to ask in thai if you want.
