Vertical grip D-BG2 and D-BG3

Just a quick question.

Understand the D-BG2 can take 1 batt, with 1 batt inside the cam body, so total 2...
Can the camera still work with only 1 batt inside the grip ??
That means only batt in grip and no batt in camera ?? or the camera die die must have 1 batt inside in order to work ??

Reason i ask becos i dun like to take out the grip everytime i need to charge batt...

likewise for D-BG3, anyone has any idea if it can work with AA batt inside the grip only ??

D-BG2 is for K10/20D only. The camera will work with a single battery in camera or in the grip.

D-BG3 is for the upcoming K200D only

Yeah, there is one made in Taiwan for K10D which suppose to work on K20D as well:

It takes 12 AA batteries or 6 CRV-3 Batteries
