Saw this brand on web. Also know that a few shops in Sim Lim carrying this brand. The CF is cheap comparing with Sandisk and Lexar for similar read/write speed and capacity. Does anyone know and use this memory card brand? Your feedback would be welcomed. I may buy the 16 GB CF.

Thanks.

Uhh.. Never heard of it. But make sure you take very good care to make it look mint condition.

Apparently damaged labels void warranty.

Oh u have used this brand...care to share your experience? Thanks.

Thats' the thing. I've never heard of it before, and so cheap for 16GB? Somehow I just think this is too good to be true.

S$189, life time warranty.... what u think?

Yes, they may have lifetime warranty. But the main issue is that is it reliable? If card is faulty and caused your data to be corrupted, they replace one-for-one, also not much use.

My guess is that it is PROBABLY okay to use. But I do get nervous when I have to store 16GB of data on a single card of a brand that nobody's ever heard of. All it takes it just one mishap...

Thanks, those were my concerns, that's why I'm asking if anyone have knowledge or experience with this brand. It has been out in Australia since Mar 07. Just want to have feedback from those who have used it or know of someone who had it.

The OEM of this brand makes memory cards for other reputable brands. I don't wish to speculate or jump to quick conclusions.

Would appreciate feedback from those who have or had experience or knowledge of Tomato Flash.

my pictures worth more than S$200++.................... tomato not for me!

Don't understand what u trying to say...
If I extend your logic, all memory cards below the value of your photos are not for u?

To me my photos are priceless...but I need to store them in memory cards if I were to use digital cameras.

I bring laptop along on shoots..

Sorry, no experience and know no one,
but was searching a few months ago

Apparently this Tomato declared that they will beat Sandisk etc, so I'd expect them to be really good to be able to do that :D

i am current based in Aust, regularly travelling to Sydney for shopping.. :sticktong

i havent heard of Tomato flash.. there are many different ulu brands in the camera/electronics shops in Sydney.. other than Sandisk, Transcend, Lexar, Toshiba and Kingston being the 'recognisable' brands.. the others are a dime in a dozen..

edit:
see this link for reference.. ;) you had been warned.

Hi ..thks for the feedback...
I'd seen the link before.....didn't say much about the quality of the brand just about the lack of marketing and distribution ........
