ANyone out there knows the differences between these two series of lenses?

I have read many reviews and they all say that Ai-S is better because it offers Close Range Correction (CRC) particularly for the wide angle lenses.

My questions are:

1. Is it the case that only Ai-S lenses (and not the Ai) can be used with DIgital SLR?

2. If YES, what are the limitations when it is used on DSLR?

3. ANyone knows where/ who sells Nikon 28mm f/2.8 Ai-S?

Thanks for your help in advance guys!

The difference is that the aperture lever is calibrated so that the body can control the aperture for shutter priority and program mode.

Here's something..

Better to post Nikon related stuff in Nikon subforum. You'll get a faster response.
