Hi all,

Anyone here happen to be using the Digicabi DHC series?

Need your advice.
Does it automatically keep the RH at the desired setting?
Any encounters of fluctuation in RH values especially in aircon room?

Thanks for the inputs.

Yes it does keep at constant RH reading but only change when I open the door for a longer time. But remember the temperature does affect the RH.

Unless there is a leakage some where in the seal. :dunno:

Constantly tries to get back to the pre-set amount. It's more like a thermostat for the humidity level. Once it goes above the set amount, it will activate and dry the contents to the desired level.

So far, so good. No issues at all. ;)

It will fluctuate +- a bit from the set point. But more or less remains in that range unless you open the door for a while.

mine holds at +-2 from my set humidity of 50%. every on off cycle is about 1/2hr

Does the RH go down (below 40-45%) when the aircon in the room is on? My current dry cab always go below 40 after overnight of aircon.

Anyone had this experience with the DHC Digicabi?

I get a drop when i open my dry cabi in AC as well

If you air condition your room 24/7, probably you do not need a dry cabi :) since much of the water vapour in the air is removed. Except the bills will be pretty high

you mean from 45% to 40% I believe it is normal. Only 5% as air con does take up moist. :dunno:

Now I know it happens to everyone as well.

:bsmilie:
What mean is that even without opening the dry cab the RH inside the cab drops. I reckon it's due to the low RH and ambient temp when aircon is on.
BTW Love your Angkor Wat pics.

Thanks for being great help bros!

Mine DHC 100L does drop below the set RH of 46% to 45% once awhile without the door being open. The ambient temperature will affect the RH in the room and this in turn will affect the cabinet. The DHC will automatically maintain it back to the set RH, more like a plug and play and forget about it system. Thats the good part of the DHC, where else the AD will just be working at the set knob position, say during the hotter months it will be giving lower RH and in the raining season it will gives a higher RH% so you will still need to monitor it once awhile.
