WHenever i shoot at high shutter 1/250- 1/400, the picture turn out black even under bright light.
how can i solve the problem?

cos u need a wide aperture to compensate having a fast shutter, else not enuff light enters hence its underexposed.

solve by getting your basic understanding of your camera.

if you are using flash, mean you go beyond maximum sync speed, the shutter door close while before or halfway flash fired.

if you are shooting available light, increase shutter speed is cut down the amount of light reaching the sensor, so it goes dark.

I suspect he doesn't understand much about the aperture.

It's under-exposed. Which is why they are all dark.

but he says black leh.. which can mean sensor spoil or media faulty or processor faulty..too much issues involved with his brief description..

He said under bright light also turn out black This is probably nothing to do with aperature cause it shouldnt be black under bright light even at 1/250 1/400. Maybe sensor or shutter has problem. If its flash it shldnt be the whole image black and more like partial black

My mode is on AP or SP.
Setting in on spot but why does it matter?

And apeture will set accordingly o shutter right?

It's been some time since i experience black or very dark photo at high shutter.

Sorry it was suppose to be at 1/2500 or 1/4000 not 1/400 or 1/250.

How about at auto mode? If the same problem happens in auto mode, most likely it is some hardware problem like sensor spoil or something. If not, then something wrong with the processor or firmware i think. Some sort of miscommunication between the action and output.or could be due to some setting you set in the camera...

1/2500 or 1/4000 under a bright open space area? or in the bright room?
I wont get to use such high shutter unless im under the bright sun taking pics.

can your camera take nice photos now?

why don't you show us your black photos?

Where i live on singapore doesn't have any sun.

Btw i tried shooting 1/4000 in my living room and it's all black.

Mode is set to shutter.P

of course will be totally black lar. if you shoot something under noon day sun during a sunny day, you will get 1/4000s, f2.8 at ISO 100. your room brighter then this??

Lol 1/2500 and 1/4000 is a very different affair. Unless it darn bright sunlight, it will probably be black picture unless the aperature is really big. Under my house lighting, the best I can go is 1/30 F2.8 ISO800. So no way 1/4000 is going to produce any visible picture(at least for me)
