Looking to get these long lasting batts. Which has turned out better in your experience???

Imedion - cheaper, 2100 mAmp, come with case, Taiwan made
Eneloop - more expensive ($3 more), 2000 mAmp, no case, Japan made

Wah....damn jia lat...no reply at all. Sigh....

Eneloop - cos the power retain even the batteries are not in use.

Eneloop hands down. There may be more powerful batteries from other brands but the Eneloops have never failed on me.

Hmmm.. i thot Imedion oso the long lasting one..
if not used still 90% after 6 months

how abt GP's Reckyo? Guardian was having sale for them last week I think. $7.90 for a pair.

Watson's sell the recyko 2AA or 2AAA for $11.20 and comes with a free 2 batteries charger.

Can support Recyko. GP got quite a good product in Recyko. Here is a couple of threads on comparing hybrid batteries. The second test just started a week or so ago which has included GP's Recyko.

1st round

2nd round (and still on-going)

Seems like Imedion is quite a fair bit superior based on the 1 week reading.
XD wil have to remember to check in again after 3 months to see the results..

:) Thanks.

Never use Eneloops but heard many, many good reviews of them.

not surprising to hear good feedback on the eneloops as they were the first to hit the market, thus garnering a larger following. lack of good feedback on reckyo or imedion at this point should not be take as negative, unless someone with specific experience comes out to share.

personally, i have had good experience with the powerex series. so, i am waiting to see how imedion performs.

have always been a sanyo supporter... so eneloop for me... been working well for me... and i love the fact that rechargable batteries are able to retain their charge for longer periods now...

They are really handy when u forget to recharge or have no time to recharge your other batts... i usually keep 2 packs of 4s in my bag as my backup...

don't know about imedion... but i had pretty bad experiences with alot of the older gp rechargeble batteries (not being able to hold charge after 5 cycles and such:sweat:) ... so didn't go into recyko...

anyway got lobang to get about 8x aa eneloop for $34-36 :bsmilie:

Eneloop

Forget about Sanyo batteries. They were the standard barer for a long time, but over the past 2 years, they cmi.

Maha's Imedion is the way to go if you want batteries that retain their charge after a long time. If you want pure performance, use Maha's Powerex.
