Editing oily face

Anybody know how to photoshop away the oily face shine?

not bad. maybe can add abit contrast on the face. How did you do it?

Nope. Spot Healing Brush with low opacity setting on a separate layer. Strictly shine reduction only. Nothing has been done to the contrast and skin texture. Total time taken: less than 2 mins.

PS: Participants of my Photoshop workshop will learn this technique on their second lesson.
 

Will they get offended if you hand them the blotter? I am not sure...
 

Here's my try:

1. Creat another layer.

2. Use soft selections on hot spots.

3. Fill it with the srrounding colour.

4. Chage Layer Blend to "darken" and adjust Layer Opcaity to suit.

Total time taken: Less than 1 minute.
 

My studio is always equipped with Watson Facial Blotting Tissues. Cheap and :thumbsup:.
 

I take it one step further especially during weddings - blotter AND Matt powder.
