Editing oily face

Anybody know how to photoshop away the oily face shine?

Nope. Spot Healing Brush with low opacity setting on a separate layer. Strictly shine reduction only. Nothing has been done to the contrast and skin texture. Total time taken: less than 2 mins.

PS: Participants of my Photoshop workshop will learn this technique on their second lesson.

Just tell them their face are oily before you shoot, you don't even need to photoshop later

you will never know how many unrelated weird things we have been using to get the job done.

Here's my try:

1. Creat another layer.

2. Use soft selections on hot spots.

3. Fill it with the srrounding colour.

4. Chage Layer Blend to "darken" and adjust Layer Opcaity to suit.

Total time taken: Less than 1 minute.
