:thumbsup:well, the was so much hype about it being gone so im so excited to be finally able to try it!
Hi hacknet ,
Care to share the price you bought it?
Now let's see if we can find Kodachrome 25 ;p
went to read up on it again. shot with a high qualty lens the 35mm slide can hold detail equivalent or more to a 25mp sensor. digital still has some catching up to do =)
oh well, i dont think i'll ever get to play with kodachrome, any idea why slides are always called "chrome"?
OOU...Kodachrome 25!!!
Actually, the highest resolving (sharpest) film was Kodak's TechPan. It was a VHC Litho repo film, but if you altered the developer/development, you get a wide range of tones for pictorial use. Efective ASA was 6/12, and the film had virtually no visible grain in mega-enlargements. It also had a resolving power of 300lpi, wehreas the best pro grade lenses could never top 100lpi or somewhere around there.
was velvia 100 reissued? i saw some 100 yesterday didnt take notice if it was 100 or 100F
