Hi all,

This is a picture I had taken during one of business trip to Bangkok. The picture attempt to capture the nite street peddlers that are abundant in the street of thailand and had becomes part of the working thai people lifestyle. It is also a scene which can only been seen in Singapore during the 70s and 80s.

I would like feedback on the composition, exposure as well as the photography technique which I can improve on.

The photo is taken with a Nikon D80, AF-D 50mm 1.8 at f2 and shutter speed of 1/60 sec. No pp except for cropping and adding of the border

Cheers :)

Nice feel and take. But composition wise I find that the tall building is redundant, I would crop to just slightly above those light bulbs, to show more, I would rather shoot in landscape orientation. What do you think?:)

wow. nice. no flash at all?

Don't really feel that these street peddlers are in abundant by looking at your photo. Perhaps a landscape view from one end of the street might give that sort of feeling, esp if taken with a wide angle lens.

Hmm... yup, a landscape view probably give a better view of the market.. why didn't I think of that... :embrass: thanks for your valuable feedback

No flash use as I try to capture the ambrient of the nite market. Taken handheld with ISO push to 400 to maintain a shutter speed of 1/60sec to minimized blur due to handshake :)

cheers
