Thks for the reply ortega :)

and to quote someone from the press :

"you need to have at least a degree, some big shot here decrees so"

this i dun agree, but LL have to accept, i don't see the relation of having a degree
and the ability to shoot great news photography. :dunno:

Tat's what i heard from all my wise old uncles....

To be successful you must know the right person...

how to build the right connections ??

I only know how to burn bridges .....:sweat:

i think after the connections thingy

you must also be able to deliver the results
the ability to spot a story and illustrate it with your camera
the ability to write a story is even more useful

maybe just keep shooting and improving, till someone thinks
you got the potential? A plus point if you are young.

If you are getting old like me, chances are slimmer, depends
on if they wanna help realize your potential. Kekeke :sweatsm:

"Good" degree -------> 2nd lower or higher (Honours)

for even lower price. You can't stop that. This is Singapore. :bsmilie:

Just write in if you're interested. They'll keep your resume if there's any job vacancies in the future.

The filling-of-job-vacancy process in any companies normally starts from the inner circle (E.g. friends) to the outer circle (e.g. public via adverts). Reason for this is cost and the ease of finding a person more appropriate via recommendation.
