enjoy guys!

best regards,

umm, what is so beautiful about this girl? because i can't see the face, i cannot agree with you.

there is a yellow cast, check your white balance.

composition wise, it is alright, positioning her on the right, great play of lines in the background, mixture of nature and manmade lines all in all along with her lanky frame topped off with a portrait framing.

the only main thing to improve her is to catch the face, the thing she is doing, not a snapshot of her walking away with no meaning.

I believe the background wasn't intentionally chosen but its really a good one perhaps the pillar might be distracting if you see it in other pov.

i say there is room for improvement!~ this photo summarily lacks connection between the viewer and itself.

1. She's caucasian, not eurasian.

2. She's a bit young, don't you think?

3. This looks almost like a stalker-snapshot. I don't see the "beautiful girl" theme here, more like "I took a pic of a very young girl walking away from me, i hope her dad didn't notice"

4. If she had her upper body and head turned towards you, making eye contact and smiling, and that annoying white post wasn't in the frame, it would be a much better picture.

A voyeuristic shot with little or no compositional value. Flat lighting, a cluttered background and a undistinguished foreground adds nothing to the photo.

I would have to say this has to be one of the least noteworthy photo I've ever laid my eyes on CS.

Sorry mate, you will have to do far better.

Cheers,
WG

In portraits... it would almost always work better if you are able to engage your subject before you take the shot. Just snapping away at people's derrière isn't always flattering, nor is it going to do your photography any good. Granted some people are able to shoot great rear profiles of their subjects... but in this case... I would defer to Rashkae's point #3 :bsmilie: You are simply asking for somebody's dad or husband or bf to wallop you.

hahas. i did ask permission before i took the shot from her parents. they were just beside me. thanks. will improve more.

Sorry man... But you need to see the combo here:

1. The girl is maybe 10? 11?

2. She's showing off a lot of her (illegally young!) skin

3. It looks like a voyeur snapshot

4. And then add your nick and shake it all together...

the nick? can't judge like that ah..:nono::nono: if it was voyeur i believe he woud rather keep it than post here for C&C on better voyeurism ;)

You had already gone through the trouble to ask for permission, why didn't you psoe her or wait to capture a more compelling image? I agree with wolfie, permission or not, this is a lousy picture. Very lousy picture.

And what's wrong with you?

Lets not be too hasty or judgemental, associating nicks vs intentions...

Lets keep our critiques as constructive as possible, so as to help a fellow budding photog improve.

Thank you.

Naah, wasn't quite meant that way, but it sure added to the "Hmmmm...." thoughts I had.

I can see where you are coming from but like i mentioned earlier, lets keep this on topic.

Meanwhile, if both DP or yourself have an issue, kindly take it offline. Lay off each other. I will not tolerate any further brickbats from either party.

Thank you.
