Nice pictures. Is it intended for picture 2 to be that way? I would hold the exposure a bit longer...:)

thanks for your kind comments

in what way? :dunno:
i wish picture #2 could have more details on the rocks on the top right area, but alas alack, even hdring it from raw cannot retrieve details, didn't use tripod for this one, very close to rocks so handheld it :bsmilie:

maybe one day when i pluck up the courage to use tripod near rocks, the spray is deadly, i hear! i think yes, the water flow will be a lot nicer though, can imagine, especially if estimate properly and take at the right moment when the waves are receding

have more from yesterday, will post them up later

tai kar lai see, you made it sound like end of punggol in your title :bsmilie:

Very nice! One of these days I will go and try...
From your title, I though you will not be seeing Punggol again... :bsmilie:

:bsmilie: yes, punggol is a lovely place, just look at eikin's thread and you'll know that it's fantastic, i always feel very happy when i'm there

from a rough start anyways, the first time i went there i felt like bombing the whole area, then nowadays smarter, bring own water, wear more appropriate clothing, not so bad

try walking around the whole place in jeans, black shirt and you'll know what i mean, from noon to sunset :bsmilie:

thanks!
Neat landscapes

the clouds blocked the nice goldenish sunset today. hence i left really early, and disappointed. haha

scotland coast, yum
yuh, which is a sad thing, don't you think
other than for people staying there i guess, i can't imagine living there, but going there to photoshoot is orgasmic almost everytime
Where are you going man?
london, now satay16 is going to call me a publicity whore boohoohoo

but i will really, really miss singapore landscapes, as silly as it sounds to all the "overseas is better" people

ahhhh why didn't you shoot anyways
sometimes cloud blocked sunset can be very nice, the first time when i went to punggol i didn't know anything much, i guess, i got a rainbow sunset anyways, because the sun's rays peeked out from behind them

it's not impossible to preserve some of the nature in punggol without hindering the development plan. but so far i've got no response from people in the area to kick-start anything :( oh well, if the people living there can't be bothered, then just let things be.

thanks hahaha, seriously though, i'm not trying to be humble or what
i just really, really shoot a lot  and play with photoshop a lot, i guess

I see. Take more shots in london to share please~;p
Haha, for those who seldom travel overseas, it is better over at the other side. But not for me, who travel frequently not for holiday, but for work... Still prefer to shoot in Singapore still. Occasional overseas shooting is fun though. :D

hrm, if you want, i don't mind helping out in any small way, but not sure if can help out much
i really, really, really like that area a lot
the more i go, the more i like it

will try, have to get used to the area first though, do some stake outs
how do you put it

shooting at home is just different, you are in your comfort zone
you know what's going to happen, roughly etc
and heck, let's face it, singapore is one of the safest places on earth today

i actually needed people to record the biodiversity of some of the drain areas (mangrove habitat and migratory birds especially) ... oh well ... nevermind ... ... i'm inspired by one of the drain project in the middle of urban tokyo, and thought that would be possible in punggol given enough effort, but i guess without support from the ground, the big masterplan takes precedence
