Bros and sisters, in case you are not aware, this is the Suicide Prevention Week ..... please give your full support to anyone who need our supports and listen to their needs and problems.
In many cases, there will not be any solution to their problems, but we can revert the problems to more people who may be able to assist ..... this kopitiam is one avenue...
May I wish that more people will share their problems and to believe that there are many people who are willing to listen and help.

Thanks for the headsup:thumbsup: I am almost at the brink of joining the suicidal club few weeks back too...

dun think coming to CS will help, instead may cause more grief...

due to tis song... every weekend 1 round...

You're way too beautiful girl
That's why it'll never work
You'll have me suicidal, suicidal
When you say it's over
Damn all these beautiful girls
They only wanna do your dirt
They'll have you suicidal, suicidal
When they say it's over

The statistic is frightening .... for every successful suicide there are at least another 10 unreported attempts or unsuccessful suicides!
A lot of these can be prevented only if there are people who are willing to listen/talk to them, though there are many cases where there is really no solution except that one should look at life at another perspective/view.
Being suicidal is actually "natural" ..... normal instinct for people and animals is to fight death, to survive, but when there is no more hope or the thought of one being unable to escape death, one (people or animal) will "normally" give up the hope to death..... so we should give suicidal thought a miss, or give suicidal people more avenues for a solution to their problems.

as in you almost join SOS or almost splatted your life over the glass?

It is sad to think, "life will not kill you .... you will kill you".

My heart goes out to those that can not take a break from their thoughts and simply smell a rose.

I can not give my blessing to those that take their lives, just my sorrow.

Look for help, not relief.

Was going thru the various options....

1) Cut Wrist :- Too painful
2) Jump from a high rise building :- Afraid of Heights
3) Hang :- I cannot reach the rope
4) Die by Carbon Monoxide/ Gas poisoning :- The face will look terrible
5) Drowning :- The eyes get eaten by the fishes and the face will look soaked. Not nice.
6) Pills :- White foam will appear. Messy and ugly.

So decided to give up.

it should be everyday and not only in a week

Well for the past few weeks... stress from work and everything else seems to crumpled. thoughts of death just came and tempted the easy route. But then some reassurance and some incidents made me realised that the easy route may not be the best route.
