8GB CF Sandisk Ultra II was selling at $179 during Comex. Wonder how they'll price the 12GB...

I wonder if it can work with a D70. There are times some of the later ones don;t work too well with older DSLR.

but hey, its a 133x write speed card i think (20 MB per sec), and Sandisk ultra III
i'd personally still rather the 8GB card with 333x write speed

sounds like sth for cams with 100mb< per pic; the 1ds mkIII (or so i heard) and medium format cams have that when they shoot in the best qual option. otherwise, thats a card that will last maybe 6 battery lives

hard disks prob wont be doomed, after all per gb they are much cheaper. just got my 160gb hard disk for $1 per gb ;p
