Hi, for the past 2 weeks, my dry cabinet's humidity level stays only around 70%, despite me turning the knob the lowest extreme.

The situation did not turn well even though I went to change the humidifier at Digi cabi.

Pls suggest what could be the problem.

Thanks

Your extreme u r refering to is at 7 or 5 o'clock position? 5 o'clock position position is the max power

Might be the meter/gauge spoil liao..u using analogue or digital one? Is the door close properly? Anyone accidentally switch off the mains to the dry-cabi?

Wa! if i turn to 2-3 o'clock my RH sure will reach below 40. Since u have changed ur humidifier, is there a possibility that cabinet itself has some construction flaw? My guess either got "holes" or the door cant shut tightly and therefore allows room humid air to constantly enter into cabinet.

Does that mean that it is time to change my dry cabinet?

Yesterday I tried to see to see whether the analogue meter is damaged by putting a new pack of thirsty hippo into the cabinet overnight.

Today morning, the humidity drops to about 60%.

So the possibility left is that either the humidifier or the cabinet is damaged

Since u still under warranty... send it for inspection lor and tell them to take note that e humidifier just changed...
