It's been a few years since the SB6/800 were introduced. I'm thinking of getting one but was wondering if it'll be replaced by a new one soon with different TTL modes. Does anyone know?

If there is:

1. your cam also cannot use those new modes!
2. you pay higher $ for something you dun need
3. by the time you upgrade your cam to use this then either the flash would have drop in price OR

You will be repeating this qn here again!

Logical response?

Nothing wrong with the current flashes mate :p My guess is you won't see any new flashes until a new metering system is released. i-TTL brought on the release of the SB600 and 800 yes?
