Help with Corrupted Jpgs

Hi All,

I was transfering photos from my D80 to the laptop yesterday.. then i forgot that I should not use my old card reader (itz not really compatable with the D80's SD card)

After transfering, I deleted the files from my SD card and started takin photos again. In the end, the photos I transfered to my laptop was corrupted (still 4M in file size but cannot open in PS or anywhere), and I deleted them from my sd liao..

i tried afew methods and also searched online, i manage to find a pixel recovery software which seem to work, but it is only a trial version, the full version is US 170..

Anyone hv experience with this and can advise on how to salvage this?

Sorry, forgot to mention that the error when opening in PS is "Could not complete yr request bec an unknown or invalid marker is found"

If you're SD card hasn't been used, try this software. It'll recover your images. Another guy had similar problems here http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthread.php?t=277107

Oh no, that's not good news. I suggest that you download the software and try to see if it can detect the deleted files, photorescue is very robust and it can still recover files that have not been overwritten. If you decide the detected files are worth the money spent on the software, do go ahead. If not, don't bother buying the software, you have nothing to lose.
