Just want to check who had tried ordering prints. I used their free 20 prints and it took about a week to mail to me. They use HP paper to print, and quality machiam using your printer to print

Haven got the chance to try yet, still got an empty stack of 4Rs...
So the prints are not fantastic ?

huh so bad? I hope they dun use the same method for their paid services.
I have a stack of HP photo paper, I didnt even want to print photos with my printer. Rather pay to print at labs

I had the same experience; took more than a week for the 20 free prints to arrive, although on their website, it was stated 2 to 3 days. And quality is a lot worse than what I get from my own printer. I tried it out coz I thought it would be convenient to order prints for friends, but looks like I won't be using this service any time soon unless service and quality are improved.

originally wanted to try let them make large prints.
Looks like gotta shelf that plan for now, at least not from them .

quality not so good :thumbsd:
Luckily all of my prints were "free".

The paper is neither the glossy i've come to expect from fotolabs nor matte; like a poor glossy finish. Colour reproduction is fairly accurate, just somehow lacks "oomph", lacks depth somehow. Contrast is good, my b/w shots are as expected.

My order took close to 2 weeks to arrive, and thats pretty unacceptable to me, even if its a free trial order. The bottomline is will I order from them again? Probably not, unless i'm printing like their photocards for party invites etc etc which can afford to be lower quality and need to be cheaper.

two weeks already mine not yet arrive.
damn....

unlucky? :dunno:

Free for the prints. How about the shipping charge?

although 19cents seem very attractive, the long wait and the poor quality just do not seem to justify it. Colour isn't that fantastic either..frankly speaking the photos really look like it came out from your home photo printer

Because that's exactly where it came from? ;p I don't think HP makes chemical prints.

I believe they are using pigment ink + HP photo advanced paper.

Anyway other than slow delivery, I quite like the colours of the printout, YMMV.

Hey.. I tried snapfish.. got 100 free prints, so printed those from a recent holiday. Had printed a set earlier from a photo shop in raffles place for 19cents as well, so wanted to test the waters and get another set for my gf.. the quality of snapfish is poor! as compared to the ones from the shop, the colours are not vibrant and the photo paper is lousy quality and not glossy. Complained to snapfish and the customer rep sent my photos for reprinting for free, guranteeing results this time.. waited 10 days and the new (free) batch looked the same - lousy! so ya, do print from a shop..

I got mine pretty quick. 40 free prints in 2 days, but the print quality was terrible. I uploaded my pics with the fast upload, their compression thing. Was wondering if the bad quality was due to the compression when uploading. Anyone printed full resolution pics?
