how much does 4xAA cost ??
saw it at harvey norman... 2x is about $11.50 (or is it $10.50 :dunno: ) or so, 4x is $20

they are rated to substain 85% charge even after 12mth, and also AA are in 2050mAh.

Yeah it will, cos usually a flash is only rated 6V.
On that case, it will burn the circuit inside the flash (unless the flash have over voltage circuit) right after you connect/on the flash to the battery, not even when the flash is triggered.

Arto.

Yeah u've got a point, perhaps right after it's turned on. But think we've been OTing here. ;p

In term of capacity it is only 50mAh more than current Sanyo eneloop (which is 2000mAh). I think Sanyo will release something like 2100mAh or 2200mAh to catch up in the near future. And GP will release another one, slightly higher again, etc., etc.

Let them fight (and hope they will fight for price too) and we are the winner.

anyone bought this? any updates? any comments?

i bought the GP ones.
So far so good.

I bought GP because it states the retention % over time.
Enelope never say anything.

Anyway i got very bad impression of Sanyo eversince the 2500mAH saga.

I've also bought 8 pcs and so far still quite comfortable.:)

On special offer at Cold Storage.... $7.95 for 2 pieces. ;)

well at least Sanyo offered to do replacement

Why must be Recyko? What's wrong with the regular GP rechargeable ones? I use a lot of those...

Because they are GP equivalent of Sanyo's Eneloop which can retain the charge very much better than normal GP or Sanyo NiMH batteries. ;)

haha. i sold off all my GP batteries for eneloops and a couple of 2700mAhs.

found that normal GP discharged way too fast and got really irritating. they have good service tho. sent one email simply to tell them about the discharge problem and they sent me 2 free 2700mAhs in a case. haha.

i'll side eneloops anyday. just got back from a 5-day dive trip and only used 4 eneloops and 2 Sanyo 2700mAhs. My camera (Canon A570IS) uses 2 at a time. took up 900 photos or so with the 2 of e eneloops still in my camera now, plenty of power left!
