true...but her "real" name in the show is ouyang peipei, according to the show synopsis...:dunno:

Well, Owyong would be the dialect derivative of Ouyang - we don't usually put Hanyu Pinyin versions on the name tags.

Don't know about now though, haven't seen recruits in yonks, ever since they packed all of them off overseas.
