Where the wind blows...
There is a massive toy recall from Fisher Price on 01/08/07. You can go the following website to check if you own any of these toys. I am unsure if you can get any refund in SG, but at least stop your child from using them:

Can pass this message to whoever you know might be affected.

Good info for all parents.

Yah, my son is in his age of playing such toys...thats why I understand and post it here when I saw it in Yahoo...:)

Stated in ST that only 4 models of toys affected in Singapore and full refund can be sought at their office in Jurong

Yah, only 4 models affected in SG. But if you buy online or from overseas, then you may be affected too....but no refund.:(

True. Sigh. Quality control in China really have to buck up.:thumbsd:

My girls are playing with these affected toys, but they're all bought before 1 May, so I guess they should be fine right?

Think its safer for you to call up and check.

Yeah. Safer to check.

Recently the "fake buns" story turns out to be fake, but they somehow fed ideas to the "pirates" i think...

Whether the bun is fake or not is one issue resolved (like its confirmed a pranked from the reporter). But think deeper.....even news in China is fake!!!!:hung::faint:

Yeah. Safer to check.
