disclaimer: i dont mean to start this thread to blow my own ego over cyberspace.


i need you guys' advice...again.

i have a VERY persistent colleague who's overly infatuated with me.
it has become like an obsession and it's really affecting me.

eg,

1)he'll wait at carpark lift lobby for me everyday to go in office with me
2)he'll come to my office and ask me if i want to dine out or whether i would like him to dabao for me
3)he'll persistently ask me out for movies/dinner/a walk in the park
4)he'll send me "have a nice day email" almost everyday, not to mention BD,and special occasions like valentines/xmas
5)he'll come over every time and ask if i have time as he has things to tell me.then he'll start telling me those mushy stuffs and i'll just brush and walk off.

these are just some examples of what irritates me.
i've turn him down up front in the face countless of times.but maybe men just dont get it?:dunno:

and they say being loved is much luckier than you loving someone else?
i seriously doubt this.

You're obviously not stern enough with him. The part where you apparently found him sniffing your jacket, that is threading the line of harassment! You should have told him off there & then, warn him that you will make a police report if he continues doing so.

Every little thing that you do (e.g. offering him a lift, replying to his smses, even smiling at him) may give him that slight glimmer of hope.

Just tell him the fact straight in his face. if that doesnt work, lodge a complain to the police for harrasment. Seems overboard tho, but if its bothering u, u have to find a end to it.

I would say really be persistant on your part and really tell him off. Dont even give him a lift. I mean if he is not nice then really no point being too nice. My analysis, he is pretty obessed with you and any slight gesture on your part can be read by him as leading him on and you wouldnt want to do that.

Sometimes in such situations, sigh really go no choice but to be harsh and hard.....

anyway, i think i was rejected by many girls before lah. So the best is still tell them to give up, say, there is no future. a sensible guy will give up.

I never met the persistent 1 so dunno how to advice also. maybe just totally ignore him will do lah. threat him as invisible.

i dont want to make people lose their job.

as for the giving a lift thing, i solely did it because i was trying to show him i 'had someone else'...just like DCA suggested.
that was the only ONCE.
