disclaimer: i dont mean to start this thread to blow my own ego over cyberspace.

i need you guys' advice...again.

i have a VERY persistent colleague who's overly infatuated with me.
it has become like an obsession and it's really affecting me.

eg,

1)he'll wait at carpark lift lobby for me everyday to go in office with me
2)he'll come to my office and ask me if i want to dine out or whether i would like him to dabao for me
3)he'll persistently ask me out for movies/dinner/a walk in the park
4)he'll send me "have a nice day email" almost everyday, not to mention BD,and special occasions like valentines/xmas
5)he'll come over every time and ask if i have time as he has things to tell me.then he'll start telling me those mushy stuffs and i'll just brush and walk off.

these are just some examples of what irritates me.
i've turn him down up front in the face countless of times.but maybe men just dont get it?:dunno:

and they say being loved is much luckier than you loving someone else?
i seriously doubt this.

any suggestions?:embrass:

Just invite me to join you into the lift every morning, and introduce me to him as your hubby (or husband)!

HS

why would i bring my husband to office?:dunno::bsmilie:

Just tell him honestly that you are seeing someone and thank you for his affections. Tell him that he is a really nice guy and perhaps we can just stay as really good friends.

It is afterall a colleague so have to approach it tactfully. Most guys will back off after the girl has been so blunt and forward. However of course I have met guys who take it as an challenge to be the third party and be the "winner"

Anyway good luck!

haha i mis-read it as a persistant woofer i.e. subwoofer.

almost wanted to recommend you to bring it to taicheong radio services to get it checked

i already did.
i didnt tell him i was seeing someone else because i wasnt.

it's hard to tell him he's a nice guy because he aint.

sigh...it's really very irritating and it really gets on my nerves.really hard to explain the kind of feeling of negativity towards him.

i'm sorry to say this but i really hope he gets the chop one day so i wont see him again.
yes...it's really that bad.

Proclaim you are a lezzie and you're not interested in men... :bsmilie:

well, you can see it audiophilic point of view.
just imagine a woofer at your ears playing some music you really DO NOT appreciate.:thumbsd::rolleyes::p

tell him your granma is looking for a new boyfriend.. :) if his interested :bsmilie:

aiyo, way too extreme lah.i cant.
as i'm waiting for some man on white horse to come by.
what if he comes trotting down one fine day and my colleague tells him i'm les?that will burst all bubbles of hopies!:bheart:

that's more like personal attack already.:embrass:
no?

Tell him that ur in love with me! :bsmilie:

Maybe u need to tell him straight in the face that things will not work out between u and him. But some guys dun give up easily......till ur attached etc.

i admit, i do have guys wooing me but seriously NONE is like him.

the others will just drop me a msg once in a while to ask me out.
that will not turn a girl off.
in fact, i do agree to the date.

but this guy....sigh...i'm speechless.

once i even caught him sniffing my jacket on my chair.
(i'm really not kidding.believe it or not, i'll leave it to you).

as my car is a 2 seater, i gave him a lift one day.
before he got in my car, i told him i'm picking another guy up somewhere and yet he STILL wants to tag along.in the end, i drop him off clarke quay and my friend got in.
next day?

back to square one.
as thread title mentioned.he is very very persistent.
