Question from dummy user . . .

Hi all, i am new here.
Introduced from a friend that i can learn some tips on photo taking here.

I had some problems.
Currently i am holding Panasonic FX01 Digital Camera.

(1) I knew nuts about the white balance?
(2) Different COOL background?
(3) Under what condition i had to change to what setting so that the photo will turn out nicely.
(4) I cant seems to take any problem picture at night all every dark even though i am in night mode.

My usage is simple.
Just human taking / scenery and also food.

Can someone please help to advise anywhere i can read up on such information?
I see some photos taken from Normal Digital Cam is very well done.

OOU...the FX 01 sounds like a cam I would love to have if I had the $$$!

putting in night mode doesn't slove all problems regarding night shots. In night mode, shutter is kept open longer, so if you hold the camera in hand the shot will get blurred. Use a tripod or just put the camera on some solid still surface.

For me, I'd rather use manual control or aperture priority. More often than never, I don't feel good with the presets, primarily because I do not know what is going on in the camera.
