The Yawn
The first shot of the urinals and the caption doesn't really work. It comes across more like a snap shot than anything else. However, this shot shown here is very very nicely done. THe picture and the caption comes together very nicely and makes your pause and think.
The tones and the colour used are great too.
Keep shooting.
Thanks for the comment , for what it's worth, you're right that it was a snapshot... literally, was about to go home and carrying my cam, so I took the photo
Was curious how the photo would turn out in B&W due to the black and grey tiles in our toilet.
The Yawn, however, was a bit of an accident... I had a bit too much coffee that night and couldn't sleep (it was around 2am already)...
I placed my laptop on the floor beside my bed and placed my glasses there as well, then took my 10D to look at other photos, then I saw how the glasses, touch pad and buttons looked like a face... I had to tilt the LCD lower and change my desktop background to white to give ample lighting on the scene since our room was dark (son asleep).
Thank goodness for the cheap 50mm prime hehe.

Made me realize more how important a caption is to a subject when posting...I'm sure it's more than a snapshot, right? I can see how he tried to 'align' and compose everything nicely. That to me ... is no longer a snapshot ... but then ... what do I know? :embrass:
Oh dont let that bother you. Its just how i see and you you are entitled to see it differently. Feel free to share what you think. Its perfectly fine to have different opinions.
