i am trying to find the hooks but nowhere to be found... maybe tied to window grills ?

it is not a must, but you are "being encouraged", "allow to", "advise" to do so.

Not a sgrean here, but its rather not about the RC guys, but your respect & love for your own country that you put the flag up.

If you don't feel like it, then don't put... dun put just becos everybody put, put it for a reason.

I'm willing to be a Kamikaze bomber for the Nation. But if I dun put up the National Flag during NDP period, does it mean that I'm less patriotic until I commit Harakiri and spill my guts in front of Istana main gate?

Haha the time of the year again, I remember long ago say 20 years back among the older folk, they would dutifully put up the National Flag come every national day. Loyalty to nation? No..... It was cos of a rumour that says RC members will inspect and mark those units with no flags as possible subversives and report them to ISA. Of course it is just a silly rumour but it shows that putting up a flag doesnt necessarily mean loyalty to Nation.
