Hi..... planning to get myself a small 40L auto dry cabinet after reading from the thread here that they don't consume much electricity at all. So good lor, I always scare they will use power like a mini-fridge.... hahaha. ;)

Now..... which Model & Brand do you ppl suggest ? I have a low buget, so can't afford anything over $150+ for a small 40L model. Did see Carrefer (the supermarket) selling a 40L model for under $100. But I would like to hear more 1st. Any suggestion what i should look out for in getting a Dry Cabinet ?? :D

Digi-Cabi (at Carrefour) is fine... but if you could stretch a little for the 60L-80L for the future.

Space is one more problem i'm having...... even now I'm planning to put the dry cabinet under my Fish Tank. Thats how small my room is. Hehehe.....:D

Try this link. Free delivery plus another free portable i-case drybox for your holiday trips.

The only thing I wish they would incorporate is a light inside the drycab like my old iBox. Really practical to have a light source especially when the whole drycab is black and your camera gear is black.

I bought my AD-60 for $168. Free delivery beats cash and carry.

If you can find Toyo Living (Japanese Brand), which sells in Cathay few years back... is by far one of the realiable brand.
Anyway, I think there's other better brand too. :)

Just when to Carrfer this afternoon. Was looking at the 60L version selling $178. They will also send to my place for free. But most importantly..... they give 7% cash rebate if I pay by POSBank credit card.... and I do have it, hehehe.;p Thats means cheaper than buying from the website.:D But thanks for the Link anyway...;)

Agreed. My 30L Toyo Living is almost 10 years old but still working strong. At that time it was pretty expensive, think I paid $300 + for it :(

Anyway, recently just bought a 100L DigiCabi (DHC100) which is slightly more expensive than my 10 years old 30L cabinet.

Who says things are getting more expensive nowadays ... :D

45% - 55% is the ideal range. But anything within 40% - 60% is fine.

How do you check the accuracy of the humidity? Any brand of hydrometer?
