Buffet Dinner - Hidden Cost?

Went to a Steamboat Shop the other day, the sign says $22 per person.

So me and friend went in, sat down and the "waiter" came with a menu and say..
"you may choose which soup you want but you have to pay extra $10".

So I asked, I just want normal soup, but he said CANNOT.

So I asked, your buffet $22 only apply to the food, but with no soup...so you cannot cook the food...He say "YES! no choice!"

So I went to other shops, some offer $5 some offer $10..

We finally went to one shop which offer $17.90+++++, and $5 for the soup.
The mutton...haiz...throw against the wall and may not even break up..

Scary...

Wah first time I hear lke that one. This is outright false advertising unless they put some small print somewhere on their banner or advert !!. Or they allow BBQ but Steamboat ust pay extra for soup ?? :dunno:

This is pretty creative idea leh!!! Next time, if I open buffet, I will say $5 for utensils, $5 to chairs, $5 for table. :devil:
