Where the wind blows...
Hi all,

I have decided to put this here for some tips from you ppl.

My own critic is that the mossiac for the right pic is slightly cooler than the other 2. It will be better not to have the adult in the 1st pic, but I cannot crop the adult without cropping the infant's right hand or head....

Please comment on the PP and lighting (I bounce the flash to the ceiling).

Thanks.

Just one tiny one... watch the distortion on the tile lines when shooting from an angle... esp in pic 2

Lovely moments captured well. I'm fine with the tiles ... it's the moment captured that matters. But ... the text above is rather distracting.

Yah, I realised that during the crop too....thanks. I think the skin tone is a bit too redish too....especially for the 2nd pic....it was ok on my home monitor, but it is obvious when I print it out....:( calibrator is expensive, gota save up:)

Thanks ndroo. O, the text was distracting. I thought of making it as a poster for the wall. May be I should take it out when I print it for photo album. Thanks.:)

#1, black border are too strong, text are fine, maybe tone down a little.
#2, sit down in a bath tub alone will be more interesting than an arm stick out from no where.
#3, avoid using auto WB to do series shots.

Hello catchlights, thanks for your tips....I will take note about the border. But as much as I like, I cannot afford a bathtub at home....to expensive (for me) to get a big enough flat that can house a bathtub:embrass:. I shot in RAW with fixed WB (not auto) and I think I didn't make a good PP to adjust the tile WB correctly, will rectify it. Thanks.

My 2 cents:

1) The adult hand really spoils the whole thing. Try it out on a bath tub as mentioned by catchlights
2) In terms of composition, the left most pic is distinctly different from the rest of the 2.
3) WB issue on your 3rd pic as you have mentioned.

Keep it up and try again!

O, O! Have have, but he din use that since he was about 5 months old. He has been showering with me in the weekends and in the tub in his infantcare center in the weekdays. Sorry for the misunderstanding:sweat: :) .

It was an impromtu shot, may be I should arrange a shooting session in the infantcare:) .

I'm referring to bath tub for baby, don't you have one at home?

Hi yehosaphat,

Thank you for your tips. Will surely try again.:D
