Maybe to prevent more flaming :nono:

Behave hor, alot of elites visit cs :nono:

Please be exact which part is spewing nonsense and how is it wasting bandwidth?
Because the nonsense you were spewing was wasting bandwidth and server space, and it looks like this thread is heading in the same direction.

Wow so insisting on your statement and words  ok let you win. I stop this thread. But dont apply your insisting manner to every aspect of life:nono:
Spewing nonsense - Everytime you type something

Wasting bandwidth - Everytime you hit the "Submit Reply" button

I agree, you are full of sh!t.

It sounds like you are a driver yourself and you hate taxidrivers like half the driving population out there (the other half are taxidrivers themselves). And now, they drive big flashy cabs, not the Nissan Cedrics and Toyota Crowns of yesteryear, that you can't even out accelerate them anymore! How galling, right?

It is so hard to NOT be stereotyped when a few bad sheep among the taxicabs and all get condemned.

Try staying 10 hours behind the wheel a day and staying awake.

Try driving aimlessly for 2 hours trying to find a fare, only for another cab to cut in front of you to snatch him away.

Try keeping 24 points for 2 years (the same points a regular driver has)

Try queuing two hours in the taxi rank at the airport, only to get a fare that goes to Pasir Ris.

Try picking a drunk fare who pukes in your cab and staggers off without paying.

The taxidriver is also human. He might be a devil behind the wheel, but a man just like you and me, family to feed, a life to lead.

If they are as bad as you say, they would be off the roads either because they've crashed, or they've been suspended. They have the same 24 points on their Class 3 like you and I, but they spend much more time on the road.

In your petty small minded consciousness, its become all about you and your bruised ego, inadequately veiled under the name of road safety and righteousness, that you didn't know to leave a locked thread alone and needed to carry it on in a new thread, to get enough people to agree to what you are thinking.

Cut people (not just taxidrivers) some slack.

I say again in the original start of the thread, only reduce the engine capacity and nothing was mentioned about the drivers for a start! You people are not reading. Its when others CS members start to mention about the drivers that started all these!!! Please read carefully before commenting!!!!!!

And you read without understanding.

You have a problem getting out dragged by Skoda taxicabs, don't you? :bsmilie:

I see the same discontentment from petrolcar drivers getting beaten by 1.7 litre turbocharged diesel light goods vehicles. They say those LGV cannot use anything but the slow lanes on the expressway!

Put your "I pay more so I should be faster/more powerful/have exclusive use of the fast lane" mentality away, you'll live longer!

Good luck to your way of mentality and observation of life !

There is another scenario even if one drives defensively, other drivers who are careless will crash in.
I think I hit the spot. :)

Don't worry, I drive defensively. I plan to live a long life.

See, I said you're the one who reads without understanding.

"Driving defensively" is to give away, actively avoid an accident, or simply to just wait, rather then forcing my right of way and driving straight into an accident that I could prevent.

Sure, sometime somewhere some crazy taxi is going to t-bone me at a junction and I'd never see him coming, but that's all fated, isn't it?

If he was driving a crappy Jap taxi with a 2.5 litre diesel Toyota Crown instead of a turbocharged 2.5 litre V6 Skoda Silver Arrow, I might be paralysed instead of dead, right? (I think that's what you're getting at)

So lets say the taxi vehicle was 1.6L the driver would not even try to T bone you becos he can judge that it would be impossible and chooses to slow down or stop and give way to you.
