:) ...a bit too early for shooting on a sunday morning :bsmilie:

ya hor, didn't notice the time, yeah pretty early I'm still zzZZ probably:bsmilie: :bsmilie:

Dunno who went for the run. But this was one of the WORST organized runs that I've taken part in. Mizuno Wave Run ? :thumbsd::thumbsd::thumbsd:

Did someone shoot the atrocity?

I went for the run... Drenched, wet, miserable, soaked in mud, hungry, long windy snakes of queues, Horrible organization. Baggage deposit = a couple of vans - runners are mobbing them, and they are just *that* close to tossing the bags into the vans like sacks of rice.... it should have been a large secure tent area where items are being put shelves. *faint* I squashed all my stuff into the m-cycle box instead.

Uneven distribution of goodies! I saw people lugging away huge pile of magazines like they are newstand workers... I heard that they came in boxes, and no one's distributing, so they tore it apart it's self-help... *Grrrr!*

Marshalling's lousy too. Lots of choke points along the running route where we got squeezed out onto the roads. The weren't any closure of any lanes of the roads. There are runners on the road... sharing the same filter lane with cars. So dangerous!

There are only two water points, and there are also no rubbish bins placed a short distance after the water point... then where does the empty cups go? Onto the ground. Like even before 1/2 the running pack's gone, there's more! No more cups, they rushed in with huge water bottles. People won't run with them... in this world of environmental awareness, this level of wastage is... 仓狂... (madness)

But hey, I thought I saw a white 70-200mm f2.8... ;p

i also participated.. Registered for the fun run which is 5km, but I end up running more than 10km bec. nobody knows what is the route for the fun run.. poor me and the aunties asking the marshalls of where is the finish line for fun runners.. *sigh*

baggage claim is herrendous,, it took me almost an hour before i saw my bag being waved in the air.. good thing my D200 is not inside the bag.

goodie bag queue is damn freaking long.. its more than a half km long,. furthermore I started at the canal.. so it took me almost an hour just to get my singlet.

Distribution of the singlet is another head flaming encounter.. When i claim, they ran out of singlet.. I bang my hand to the table and shouted "Im suppose to run 5km but you guys made me run 10km and then I dont get anything.." the ladies dissapper in front of me and eventually new stocks came in. The lady gave me 'L' size bec all the new ones were ALL 'L' sizes.. But when I reach home and tried it, it was so tight. when I look at the size it was 'M'!!! thats it.. I emailed VGO corp.. good thing they compensated me by replacing my singlet.

So far this is the worst run i've ever joined...

I concur.

When we were getting our bags back from the VGO, it was a slow tedious process of the tenders shouting out the numbers tagged on the bag, and the owners responding, if they happen to be around.

It was hilarious to see people shouting for joy when their numbers were called out, as if they had won some lucky draw prize --- the right to retrive back your bag.

Luckily, I also won my bag back.

It is indeed horrible...they unloaded all the baggages from the truck and left it in the muddy ground..even saw some crumpler bags lying there.. lucky mine was a shoe bag..

The goodie bag..had to queue for an hour....Poor Organisation :thumbsd:
