Our Police Tactical Unit do use H&K MP5A.

I thought our uniform and red beret looks nicer.

SAR21 is used by our SAF. IMO not so suitable for airport patrol.

i could have sworn when i went to taiwan sometime back, i saw a shop selling all these gun replicas and i thought they were real.but they actually shoot pellets.

But the Taiwan made airsoft guns are no where close to the quality and replication of those made in Japan.

The one with the HK police is an old version of an MP5 with aimpoint scope attached to a low mount rail, the one with Singapore police is the latest version using light weight materials on the lower reciever.

ICS airsoft made in taiwan are also good. HK is the best place to buy airsoft guns.

Anyway my contribution to this toys.

Hi 1Ds/Xunjas,
i own them in Philippines and its 1:1 scale. The SR-16 and the MP5 are full metal, the M-14 is simulated wood made of ABS plastics, all other parts are metal. Im now based in singapore and have to settle with 1:6 guns of hot toys and dragon brands.

M16 (AR15A2 if I am not wrong) is also one of the standard weapons. I think it depends on the operations, in urban built-up area with crowd, MP5 should be the weapon of choice.
