Except for the part of no career prospects, this job description fits the CEO job -- good pay, cannot advance (cos at the top already ) and yes, after 2-3yrs, they move on to another company.

Yah... S$50K a month is quite enough... even half of that... a pay cheque of S$25K per month for the rest of the life with no prospect... it is hard to resist.

. pay
. ppl at work
. staff benefits
. stress levels (or d lack of it?)
. etc

just go for the one that offers a reasonable - good - excellent pay and stable environment. if compared to another job with good career advancement route but pay is low = no point isnt it?

Depends what you mean by a career. A career doesnt mean a job that lasts a lifetime.

From Wiki- a "Career is a term defined by the Oxford English Dictionary as an individual's "course or progress through life" ". A career therefore is composed of a series of events - you might call them jobs or other types of events.

FOr me, the more relevant qn is - would you take a job that has good pay but isnt meaningful to you, doesnt allow you to continue to learn, doesnt cause you to grow as a person?
