Seldom post inside CS but this pic, I just like it so much. Are you hungry? C&C are welcomed!

Not enuff bright bah ... though the color is there ....

at least still achieve one thing , HUNGER ! ;p
 

Too dark and DOF too shallow. The prawn feeler and the bottom part are OOF and the carrot looks a tiny bit too red to me did u up the saturation?:)

DOF is actually not that shallow and that is not the main problem.

The main problem with this photo is that it is a backlit light. So some how the food will look dark with no reflector/fill-in.

Show you a sample with some DOF and fill-in.

Oh hi everybody... Forgotten about my thread over here.. haha.. Well I took this picture when there's very very little light. My only soures of light is my flash. haha...

Sorry for the late reply. This was a 2 weeks promotion at Goodwood Park Hotel with a 2 Michelin Star Chef Reto Lampart during the month of April. He has left already.

Not medium-rare. Au Blue. Only the outermost layer is seared. Almost the entire inside of the steak is absolutely raw. The best way to enjoy a premium, very fresh cut of meat.

Fwah! Very nice shot:thumbsup: . Arranged and shot beautifully. Can I ask if you had a session to specially setup and shoot the dish, or was it taken off the table when it was served? My guess is to the former.
