1) e510 + 14-42mm + 40-150 = SGD1850
2) e510 + 14-42mm = SGD1600
3) e510 = SGD 1460

The E-510 has just been advertised in today's Straits Times at $1,499 and comes with a 2G CF card. So that would mean that it is now available for sale in Singapore, right?

Adorama's pricing is not inclusive of freight and GST. Unless you got a friend in the States who happens to be coming back to Singapore, the actual cost of ordering from them is definitely not that low. Add in courier charges of US$60 to $100 and it would cost more than buying locally.

the difference in price is like...around $300 when i think the only difference in the both of them is that e510 has IS while the latter has not. Not that worth it...

i want body alone...but i believe in singapore...u have to buy it with the kit lens.

thus..I may be looking from US or japan (japan price tend to drop quite fast)

if e510 comes with battery grip..then it is definately a good backup body for e1.

If they put out a full page colour ad, the E-410 will have to sell for $1599 and the E-510 $1999. I rather they don't advertise in States Times at all lah. Better for them to use their marketing resources elsewhere.

That's because you're shipping the item twice: China->US->S'pore
...and the local distributors and resellers know that and charge you accordingly.
