(South Bridge Road will be closed on 30 May 2007 from 7pm - 12 midnight.)

Vesak Day Parade
Official Opening of the BTRTM (evening of 30 May 07)

The main highlight of the Celebration will be the Chinatown Vesak Parade which will consist of 10 themed decorated floats from different countries (Singapore, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Cambodia, Thailand, India) and more than 10 performing troupes comprising both local and international troupes.

Free admission.

very open ended question, guess its not a common event also. Its best to go early or prepare flash.

i doubt my sb-600 can take nice flash pictures.
but have been waiting for this day for weeks.
going tonight to catch some action, support my dad's float as well.

As for where the best spots are...um... Be there early and get as near where you want to shoot as possible. LOL, see you guys there!
