I'm actually eyeing the A100 for my first DSLR......
Wonder should I wait a little longer or not :dunno:

The right knob is replaced by a LCD. Dont like it... :thumbsd::thumbsd::thumbsd:
Looks like the design is finalised
Probably in response to all the people who said the A100 was not user-friendly because of 2 knobs and not "pro-friendly" for relying on the rear LCD instead of having a separate LCD like other "pro cams".
Ah well, can't please everybody. But let's see what the image quality and overall performance is like, because that's what really matters.
i have never relied on the top LCD on any camera... i find those redundant.. :bsmilie:
I never see a need for it also, why they can just tilt their camera to view the bigger, brighter LCD?:dunno:Exactly... I never saw a need for it either. But I guess the C and N people have nothing better to complain about.

One extra knob is a much better option for camera control.

It may more convenient to look at the top LCD if you are composing through an angle-finder .........
At other times, you may not want to distract others with the strong light emitted from the pic review LCD. You also don't look very pro when you are doing that ........... :bsmilie:
how frequent do we use angle-finder :sweat:It may more convenient to look at the top LCD if you are composing through an angle-finder .........
